The VItrue story

Entrepreneur Reggie Bradford founded Vitrue in 2006 as a user-generated video company to help brands assemble video-centric communities on the web.  Online video was exploding, and YouTube was in the midst of experiencing tremendous viewership growth.  The idea was to help brands capitalize on this phenomenon. 

Vitrue was a success…and growing, as were the social networks.  But in the process of listening to what clients were telling him, Bradford discovered what brands, agencies and marketers really needed was a comprehensive way to handle their social marketing management.  Many companies would never have considered straying from the original vision, but Bradford pivoted the company to meet those needs.  In the fall of 2007, Vitrue started building the Social Relationship Management (SRM) platform.

Working in partnership with Facebook as one of very few original “Preferred Developer Consultants,” Vitrue Publisher launched in spring of 2009…a full suite of scheduling, moderation and analytics tools for marketers.  That was followed by the release of Vitrue Tabs in May of 2010, which added module tools and a way for marketers to target and segment content to their communities geographically.

Today, Vitrue is in the midst of an aggressive global expansion as more and more marketers adopt Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms to manage their social communities. 

The dynamic of our industry is that change will always be upon us.  Social networks will never be “finished.”  But while we fully expect to continue changing, evolving and innovating as a company, what will remain constant is our commitment to meeting the needs of marketers with superior products and best-in-class customer service.
